This Privacy Policy explains how K2K VPN (“we”, “us”, “the App”) handles information when you use our virtual private network application on Android (including Google Play) or desktop.

1. Who we are

K2K VPN provides encrypted VPN connectivity for personal use.

2. Information we collect

On-device settings — language, theme, auto-connect, selected server, and similar preferences stored locally on your device.
Device identifier — a random local ID generated on first launch so we can manage free sessions, reconnects, and basic service limits. It is not your phone number.
Access keys — Outline/Shadowsocks (ss://) session keys needed to connect are stored on your device.
Service / session technical data — as needed to connect, enforce free-plan limits (for example session time, speed, or data usage aggregates), and keep the service working. This is not used to build advertising profiles of the websites you visit.
Diagnostic information — if you use an in-app diagnostic view, technical status may be shown on screen; we do not automatically upload your browsing history.
Advertising identifiers (Play / AdMob builds) — when ads are enabled, Google AdMob and related Google advertising services may use the device’s advertising ID and similar identifiers according to Google’s policies.

3. Information we do not collect

We do not sell your personal data.
We do not intentionally log the websites you visit, the files you download, or the content of your encrypted VPN traffic for advertising profiles.
We do not require your real name or payment card details in the App.
The Google Play version does not offer in-app Premium purchases, so we do not collect Play purchase or subscription data for Premium.

4. How we use information

To connect and maintain your VPN session.
To enforce free-plan limits (for example speed and session time) and to show ads where applicable.
To grant optional rewards (for example bonus session time) when you choose to watch a rewarded ad.
To remember your settings on this device.
To respond to support requests you send us.

5. Ads

The App may show advertisements, including a home/banner ad, an interstitial before connect, and an optional rewarded ad (for example to skip the interstitial and/or receive bonus session minutes).

Advertising partners (for example Google AdMob) may collect or receive device and usage data—including advertising ID—according to their own policies so ads can be delivered and measured.

Google Play and other app stores may also collect anonymous or aggregated statistics under their own terms. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings where available.

6. VPN and network data

When connected, your internet traffic is routed through our VPN infrastructure (or the access key / server configured for your session). Network operators and destination websites see the VPN exit address, not your home IP, while the tunnel is active. No VPN can guarantee anonymity in all situations.

7. Data storage and retention

Most App data stays on your device until you clear cache, remove access keys, or uninstall the App. Server-side session or device records used to run the free service are kept only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

8. Children

K2K VPN is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the App if you are under the age required by your local law for such services.

9. Your choices

Clear cache and local App data from Settings where available.
Uninstall the App to remove local App data (subject to your OS).

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
